Your new company Hays has partnered with a reputable local government organisation to recruit a Team Leader for their Accounts Payable team, based at their Waterside East office in Bundall, Gold Coast
Your New Role Join this local government organisation as a Team Leader in their Accounts Payable team. This is an immediate start, temporary role for 3 months with a possibility of extension. You will be responsible for:
Allocating the daily workload schedule across available officers.
Monitoring invoice work items and redirecting, reassigning, and prioritising where required.
Investigating complex accounts payable issues.
Training and assisting staff.
Reporting performance.
Managing staff timesheets and leave requests.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Experience in SAP and OpenText Vendor Invoice Management.
Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role within Accounts Payable.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
