Experienced Supervisor & Food & Beverage attendants required.
We’re currently recruiting multiple roles for a client for roles based approximately 5 hours north of Adelaide to work in an historic town.

We're seeking a Team Leader/Supervisor to support our clients' current Café and Restaurant Supervisors who also have experience managing a small team of front-of-house staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing all policies and procedures, ensuring seamless operations across two venues.

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Café or Restaurant Supervisor (or similar role)
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 6 months with full-time hours, working a 5 day on 2 day off roster
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

As well as the vacancy for a supervisor we are also looking for Food & Beverage/ Front of House Wait staff.

The role includes, but is not limited to:
  • Delivering meals
  • Clearing and resetting tables
  • Bar service
  • Clearing glasses and filling stock
  • Cash/EFTPOS handling
  • Café (Barista responsibilities)

Skills and Experience:
  • RSA Certificate
  • 2–3 years of recent food and beverage experience is required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding work environment
  • Flexibility to work in both a busy café environment and a hotel restaurant
  • Barista skills required
  • Confident cash handling skills and processing financial (eftpos) transactions
  • Early morning shifts and afternoon shifts will be available.

Both of these roles offer the ability to work full-time hours on an ongoing basis (5 days on 2 days off). You will receive an attractive hourly rate and will be working between 35 and 45 hours per week and the work will be ongoing for the next 3 months or more in the Food & Beverage attendant role and 6 months or more for the Supervisor role.

Due to these roles being remote, they are offered as a residential role, meaning you will live on site and the cost of all accommodation and bills will be covered. As these roles are in a remote town in South Australia, you must have your own vehicle to get to the town as there is no public transport available.

All Candidates will be expected to undertake and pass an extensive pre-employment Medical and Instant Drug & Alcohol test. To be considered for the role, you will be required to undertake an Australian Federal Police check and a pre-employment medical assessment which Hays pays for.
