Your new role

  • Support strong and trusted relationships with internal clients and governance bodies
  • Provide trusted and sensible advice on a broad range of employee relations and conduct-related matters and investigations
  • Assist with the review, legal analysis and preparation of advice to their business clients on a variety of matters while working closely with the organisations' People & Culture, Partner Affairs Office and compliance teams.
  • Provide focused and pragmatic solutions to address legal risk and business problems

What you'll need to succeed

  • Admitted to practice as a lawyer in Australia.
  • Ideally, a minimum of 8 years PAE, with experience gained in a reputable mid/top tier firm and/or similar large corporation.
  • Recent experience in providing advice on employment law matters to a similar corporate business is essential.
  • Experience providing advice in partnership law matters will be highly regarded.
  • You have experience in engaging and collaborating with senior management.
  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • You can identify and consider critical issues and assess and articulate legal risks.
