An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a true "up and comer" in the residential build space who, over the past 4–5 years have grown consistently to now become a serious player in the residential build market! Working predominantly in the investor build / medium density space with significant volumes of work already pipelined, an opportunity has opened for a Production Estimator to join their talented team to assist in their continued success

Your new role
Working as part of a close-knit estimating team with the support of an experienced manager to guide and educate, the duties of the role will include but not be limited to

• Preparing ‘Bill of Quantities’ which lists the individual components required for the project and related actions;
• Issuing purchase orders for the respective functions;
• Ensuring that a high level of accuracy and quality of work is maintained, with minimal errors;
• Providing support to sales for pricing queries;
• Assisting with supplier and contractor pricing enquiries
• Site cost calculations;
• Assisting management with new designs and cost analysis;
• Analysing plans and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials and labour estimates;
• Ensure all site files contain clear and accurate information and that they are prepared in a timely manner and in accordance with the predetermined schedule;
• Liaison and communication with trades, suppliers and internal team;
• Assist other Operational team members wherever possible; ensure internal customer expectations are met.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this opportunity it will be anticipated that you possess

• Ideally 2+ years experience in Production Estimating, with volume build experience desirable
• The ability to understand and produce individual BOQ's is an advantage
• Strong Databuild skills or exposure to similar estimating software
• High levels of attention to detail
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Able to work in a small team environment
