Your new company Hays has partnered with one of the largest local councils in Australia that provides community services and facilities to a growing population representing many different cultures. This is a contract until 31st July based in Southside Brisbane
Your new role This role delivers a diverse range of functions, including enterprise architecture, to support quality decision-making. Customer centricity is key as this position is the conduit between the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) and the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Share expertise and develop frameworks, systems, and tools for EPMO outcomes.
Maintain a central project register and provide timely analysis and reporting.
Resolve conflicting priorities and ensure transparency to stakeholders.
Offer consulting and analysis services for business needs.
Facilitate problem identification, requirements gathering, and solution evaluation.
Communicate complex concepts clearly and build collaborative relationships.
Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
What you'll need to succeed To be successful in the role, you will demonstrate:
Extensive experience managing large programs and project portfolios.
In-depth knowledge of project, program, and portfolio management (P3M).
Public sector experience, ideally within a local council.
Tertiary qualifications in relevant fields (e.g., business management, project management, engineering).
