Our state government client, based in Perth, is seeking a driven Manager Management Accountants to join their busy team. Our client is seeking someone to commence as soon as possible. This will be a temporary contract arrangement with the expectation of working a full-time government working week of 37.5 hours.
Your new role
Lead the management accounting team, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Prepare and review monthly management accounts, including variance analysis.
Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Manage cash flow analysis and financial planning.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
Provide financial insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
Implement and improve financial systems and processes.
Support business growth initiatives with financial modelling and analysis.
What you'll need to succeed
Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent).
Strong leadership and management skills.
Expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Xero).
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
