I am currently partnered with a Local Government department who are seeking an EPMO Controller, Business Partner to join their evolving team in a 3-month temporary assignment.
Your new role
As the EPMO Controller, Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in setting up the project controls function for the EPMO. Your responsibilities will include PPM tool development changes and, where possible, PowerBI support, while reporting to the EPMO Lead on progress, challenges, and steering committee meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate PSC meetings – manage cadence, prepare PSC packs, take minutes, and distribute documentation
- Ensure program compliance – maintain timeframes, objectives, and communication structures
- Track, forecast, and report progress – provide insights on metrics, risks, and challenges
- Develop and manage documentation – oversee reporting for programs and portfolios
- Support PPM tool development – contribute to CAMMS system improvements
- Provide occasional backfill support for existing EPMO Controller, Business Partner when required
What you'll need to succeed
Minimum two years’ experience in EPMO, managing infrastructure projects
Tertiary qualification in project or strategic management (or equivalent experience)
Hands-on expertise with PPM software, frameworks, and governance best practices
