Your new role

As a Communications and Engagement Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development and implementation of marketing, communication, and community engagement activities. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for collaboration and ensure that all communications align with the strategic goals of the organisation. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing copywriting and editing services for various communications materials.
• Coordinating advertising bookings across traditional and digital media.
• Managing consultants and creative service providers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Evaluating and reporting on the effectiveness of communications, marketing, and engagement activities.
• Assisting with external communications, including media releases and public notices.

What you'll need to succeed

• A diploma in marketing, communications, or an equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of four years of relevant experience.
• Experience of coordinating advertising and managing creative service providers.
• The ability to work collaboratively and build positive working relationships.
• A current NT Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card) and the ability to obtain a National Police Records Check.
