Hays has partnered with the largest local government in Australia to offer a role for a Civil Designer to work within the Roads Planning and Design team.

Your new role

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Preparing design and documentation for roads, minor intersections, bus stops, carparks, etc.
• Prepare design and documentation for transport infrastructure projects within agreed quality, time and budget
• Apply relevant design guidelines and legislation requirements to ensure work complies with community standards
• Conduct site inspections to obtain field measurements

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful in this role, you will need:

• Previous experience in civil design
• Experience in road design including drawing presentation, preparing quantities / estimates
• Knowledge and understanding of Austroad standards
• Autocad experience is required
• 12D experience would be highly desirable
