Director of Project Management

An opening has been created with one of Sydney’s foremost educational establishments for an exceptional construction professional to drive the evolution of its campuses, ensuring state-of-the-art facilities that deliver a first-class experience for students and staff.
Based at the main Sydney precinct, with added responsibility over several satellite campuses and properties, you will lead the Master Plan, oversee major capital works for new building projects and refurbishment initiatives to maintain and future-proof the institution’s infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include:

•Strategic planning and oversight of the detailed Master Plan.
•Complete project management for the delivery of major capital works, new buildings, and refurbishments.
•Overseeing the FM Team, including maintenance strategy, asset lifecycle assessments, and risk minimisation.
•Procurement strategy, implementing cost-saving supplier agreements across all sites.
•Stakeholder engagement, working closely with government bodies, regulatory authorities, and internal Executives, Governors, Board and Staff.
•Financial oversight, developing long-term budget forecasts and investment planning.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in strategic master planning and developing and managing the large-scale capital works. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential to drive process improvements, inspire innovation, and foster a high-performance culture within the team.
