Exciting opportunity for an experienced Retirement Medical Co-ordinator in a State Government Department. This role requires you to work full-time hours, on an initial temporary basis. This department is based conveniently near public transport.
Your new role
Supports the appropriate identification of employees regarding eligibility for medical retirement
Refers employees to the medical board to assess fitness and eligibility for retirement
Administers and coordinates meetings
Prepares all relevant documentation in line with legislative and policy requirements
Liaises with internal and external stakeholders
Primary point of contact for employees
Administering referrals for any required assessments or services
Provides guidance on career transition
Helps prepare briefing notes and executive responses
Complies with information security policies
Undertakes other duties as required
What you'll need to succeed
Must have permanent working rights in Australia
Human resource management skills
Communication and interpersonal skills
Problem-solving, research and analytical skills
Ability to interpret and apply legislation
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
