A position has become available for a Maintenance Administrator at our Oakburn Plant.
As the maintenance administrator you will be responsible for the development and ongoing management of an asset register and documentation control associated with these assets. Fully supported and with the aid of a computer maintenance system, you will perform a critical role in ensuring compliance and efficiency of these assets for the future.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Plan and Schedule Maintenance – Assist to develop and manage maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and keep operations efficient
Collaboration with internal team members, locally and regionally, and external customers to ensure effective allocation of resources
Manage Records and Documentation – Accurately catalogue assets and spare parts across maintenance systems. Maintain accurate records of service history, maintenance reports, and compliance paperwork
Purchasing – raising and receipting purchase orders as needed
Ensure Compliance and participate in Audits – Keep all maintenance records aligned with Company policies and procedures
Communicate with Key Stakeholders – Act as a point of contact for maintenance-related enquiries, providing regular updates to management and stakeholders
Essential Skills:
Must be a Baiada employee and a permanent resident of Australia or Australian Citizen (agency employees need not apply)
Experience in maintenance coordination, scheduling, and record-keeping favourable
High level of computer skills, specifically within Microsoft Excel and ability to learn new programs
Strong organisational and time-management skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, both written and oral
Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks efficiently
Ability to make quick and correct decisions “on the job”
Well-developed problem-solving skills with the ability to arrive at and implement long term preventative actions.
