North Sydney Council administers the North Sydney local government area on Sydney’s picturesque lower North Shore. We are seeking a motivated and reliable Compactor Operator to help maintain the cleanliness and presentation of our community’s open space areas. In this permanent role, you'll play a key part in delivering a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming environment for all. Duties will include all aspects of the street cleaning role, including but not limited to; sweeping streets, picking up litter, operating light machinery and driving plant equipment.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated footpath sweeper operations/street cleaning experience, a strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining public areas to the highest standard. You will also possess a proactive attitude with the ability to follow directions and work with minimal supervision.

Salary from: $63,813 to $75,643 per annum (inclusive of allowance) + 11.5% super + $1,000 pa transport allowance + uniform provided
