As an operator in our internal Construction team, your primary responsibility will be to perform backhoe operations on storm water and road rehabilitation projects. You may also have opportunities to operate additional on-site equipment such as excavators, rollers and graders if licenced.

This role requires a proactive approach to equipment operation and a strong commitment to safety protocols. You will play a vital part in delivering Council's internal construction projects, focusing on stormwater and road infrastructure.

About you
Ideally, your application will demonstrate hands-on experience operating backhoes in similar environments or projects. Your background should showcase proficiency in handling a variety of medium-sized plant items, including backhoes, excavators, rollers, and graders, typically used in civil construction projects.
